01Controller and scope

This policy applies to Trip Pocket 1.1.0 and later versions until it is revised. The Android app is published by Studio501 — Nanouk Candela, France.

02Data stored on the device

Depending on the features used, Trip Pocket may store the following in the app’s private space:

• trips, dates, destinations and optional traveller names;
• itinerary items, transport, accommodation, activities, restaurants, bookings, notes, tasks and useful information;
• budgets, expenses, payers, categories, currencies and entered exchange rates;
• packing lists, checklists and local reminders;
• documents, images and cover photos you choose to import;
• language, theme, security and display preferences.

This data is used only to provide the features requested in the app.

03Collection, advertising and connectivity

Trip Pocket creates no account, includes no advertising or analytics and sends no trip data to Studio501.

The app requests no Internet permission. It does not sell, rent or share data stored in its private space.

04Google Play and updates

When Trip Pocket opens, the Google Play service installed on the device may check whether a newer version is available and display Google Play’s official update flow.

This check concerns the app, its version and installed components. It never gives Google Play or Studio501 access to trip contents. The technical processing is governed by Google Play’s terms and policies.

05Documents, photos and user-directed actions

You choose which documents, images and photos to import through Android pickers. Trip Pocket keeps a copy in private app storage so it can display or open them.

When you open or share a document, export a PDF, CSV or ICS calendar, or create a backup, Android sends the file only to the location or app you select. That destination applies its own privacy policy.

06Backups and encryption

A backup is created only when you request it. It can include trip data and attachments.

You can password-protect it with AES-256-GCM and PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256. The password is not stored. Because an unencrypted backup may contain sensitive information, Trip Pocket displays a warning before creating one.

07Retention and deletion

Data remains on the device until it is deleted in the app where an action is available, a replace restore is performed, Android app data is cleared, or Trip Pocket is uninstalled.

Deleting a private document removes its local copy; archiving a trip does not delete it. Backups and exports saved outside the app remain under your control and must be removed from their saved location.

Trip Pocket creates no account, so no account-deletion procedure is required.

08Security

Data is stored in the private area Android assigns to Trip Pocket. Screenshot protection can be enabled to hide sensitive previews.

No system can guarantee absolute security: protect access to your phone, exported files and backup passwords.

09Children and changes

Trip Pocket is a general travel-planning tool and is not specifically designed for children. It creates no online profile and does not send the locally stored names or documents to the publisher.

This policy may evolve with app features or platform requirements. The date at the top identifies the current version.
