01Controller and scope

This policy applies to Widget Pilulier for Android, published by Studio501 — Nanouk Candela, sole proprietor, France. The public developer name on Google Play is Candela Nanouk.

02App purpose and health disclaimer

Widget Pilulier (listed as Pill Reminder Widget in English on Google Play) is a personal organization tool for scheduling doses, displaying local reminders, keeping a local history, and using an Android home screen widget.

It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. For medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, consult a healthcare professional.

03Data processed and stored locally

Depending on the information entered by the user, the app may process and save the following in its private storage on the device:

• names of medications, vitamins, supplements or treatments;
• dosages, quantities, notes and dates;
• dose times and frequencies;
• dose statuses and intake history;
• notification, language and appearance preferences;
• widget configurations.

04Collection and user accounts

This information may constitute personal data and sensitive health data. It is used only to provide the functions requested within the app.

The app does not require a user account, does not use an app server, contains no advertising and does not transmit treatment data to the developer.

05Manual backup, export and import

The user can choose to export a JSON backup manually, copy its contents or import an existing backup. The app does not automatically upload a backup to an app server.

A backup may contain sensitive health information. After it is saved, copied or shared to a destination or app selected by the user, its protection depends on the user’s device and chosen service.

06Update checks through Google Play Core

The app may ask Google Play whether an update is available. Google Play Core may then process device metadata, the app version and the list of installed modules or asset packs to determine update availability and expected update size.

According to Google’s documentation, this data is encrypted, is not transferred to third parties and is deleted after a fixed retention period. Treatments, schedules, notes and histories entered in Widget Pilulier are not sent to Google Play for this check.

07Notifications and operation after restart

With the user’s permission, the app schedules local reminder notifications and may restore reminders after a restart or a date or time change. These functions do not require treatment data to be sent to an app server.

The content visible in notifications and any retention in Android notification history depend on the user’s Android settings. An option can hide the treatment name in notifications.

08Sharing, sale, advertising and tracking

Studio501 does not sell health data entered in the app or share it with advertisers. The app contains no advertising SDK or behavioural tracking.

Operations explicitly initiated by the user, such as exporting to a selected destination or app, are not transmissions to the developer.

09Security

Active app data is kept in the private storage assigned to the app by Android and relies on device protections, the user’s chosen lock method and the Android application sandbox.

Exported backups leave this private storage and may no longer receive the same protections. Automatic Android cloud backup is disabled in version 1.4.1.

10Retention, deletion and no account

Local data remains on the device until it is edited or deleted, app storage is cleared in Android settings or the app is uninstalled. Exported files, clipboard copies and any notification history must be deleted separately.

Because Studio501 does not hold a server copy, it cannot view or remotely delete treatment data. The app creates no remote account to close.

11Changes and contact

This policy will be updated if the app’s features, SDKs, permissions, storage practices or data recipients change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
